about the artist
I am a student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, graduating in May 2026 with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and a certificate in Art History. My academic path bridges two worlds often seen as separate, yet I’ve found that studying life at the molecular level has sharpened my appreciation for the structure, pattern, and curiosity that also drive artistic expression.
Art is something I pursue in my free time, and this portfolio brings together both my personal creative work and selected projects from my art history courses. Whether I’m analyzing a painting or examining a cell, I’m drawn to the ways detail, form, and meaning intersect. My work reflects this blend—an exploration of how scientific observation and artistic interpretation can inform and enrich one another.
